  Dai Shaobin, male, born in 1965, graduated from Wuhan University of Science and Technology, majoring in Structuring Engineering, professor, Ph.D supervisor, dean of the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture. He also holds a concurrent post as member of Wuhan Civil Engineering and Architecture Committee Steel Structure Professional Board and editor of “World Earthquake Engineering”.

  His research areas include steel structure theory and application; structural theory and calculation; ancient building protection and repairing.

  Professor Dai has published more than 30 papers, taking charge of many projects like Hubei Province Science Foundation projects, military industry projects and provincial as well as municipal projects, among which 1 has achieved Municipal Sci-tech Progress Award.

  His main current project is “High Building Short-leg Shear Wall Construction Optimization Design”. His recent papers include “Experimental Study on Post-tensioned and Unbonded Concrete Beams Reinforced with CFRP Tendons”; “Engineering Properties of Expansive Soil”, etc.

 

  Fang Jun, male, born in 1964, graduated from Chongqing University, majoring in Management Science and Engineering, professor, Ph.D supervisor, dean of the department of Technical Economy and Public Management.

  His research areas include construction engineering project management; construction project investment and financing; contract and bidding management.

  Professor Yang has published more than 20 papers and 2 works, taking charge of many projects like National Science Foundation projects, international cooperation projects and provincial as well as municipal projects.

  His main current project is “Research on Engineering Construction Standard Law Environment”. His recent papers include “Study on Assessment Indicator of Green Construction”; “Study on the design of construction project of variation management system design”, etc. His books include “Engineering Contract Management” and “Engineering Projects Contracting and Marketing”.

      

  Guan Cangsheng, male, born in 1957, graduated from Wuhan University of Technology, majoring in Structural Engineering, professor, Ph.D supervisor. He also holds a concurrent post as member of China Civil Engineering Committee Bridge and Structural Engineering Board, etc.

  His research areas include civil engineering reliability theory and engineering application; reinforced concrete structure durability; engineering structure designing theory and numerical simulation.

  Professor Yang has published more than many papers, taking charge of several projects like National Science Foundation projects, Changjiang Science Institute projects and provincial as well as municipal projects.

  His main current project is “Research on Municipal Engineering Operation Safety Management System and Risk Judgment Method”.    

   

  Huo Kaicheng, male, born in 1950, graduated from Wuhan University of Technology, majoring in Industrial and Civil Architecture, professor, Ph.D supervisor.

  His research areas include disaster reduction and prevention as well as protection engineering.

  Professor Huo has published more than 50 papers, taking charge of many projects like National Science Foundation projects, international cooperation projects and provincial as well as municipal projects, among which 4 has achieved Provincial and Municipal Sci-tech Progress Award.

   

  Jiang Yinghe, male, born in 1963, graduated from Tongji University, majoring in Environmental Engineering, professor, Ph.D supervisor, deputy dean of the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture. He also holds a concurrent post as director of Chinese Town’s Water Supply and Drainage Committee and editor of “China Water Supply and Drainage”.

  His research areas include water pollution controlling theory and technology.

  Professor Yang has published more than 40 papers, taking charge of 10 projects like national and provincial projects, among which one has achieved Provincial Sci-tech Progress Award. He was entitled with “Hubei Province Teachers’ Moral Advanced Individual” in 2000.

  His main current project is “Research on Wastewater Treatment and Recycling Technology”.

    

  Jiang Cangru, male, born in 1946, graduated from Tsinghua University, majoring in Solid Mechanics, professor, Ph.D supervisor. He also holds a concurrent post as chairperson of Hubei Steel-structure Committee.

  His research areas include Structural theory and calculaiton.

  Professor Yang has published more than 80 papers and 5 works, taking charge of projects like national tackling projects, provincial and ministerial projects as well as military industry special projects, among which 3 have achieved National and Provincial Sci-tech Progress Award.

   

  Qu Weilian, male, born in 1946, graduated from Wuhan University of Technology, majoring in Structural Engineering, professor, Ph.D supervisor, director of the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture. He also holds a concurrent post as judge of National Scientific and Technological Award Civil Engineering and Architecture Board, director of China Vibration Engineering Committee, etc.

  His research areas include engineering structure earthquake and wind resistance, structural vibration control, structural safety pre-warning.

  Professor Qu has published 52 papers and 1 monograph, taking charge of 5 projects like National Science Foundation projects and National High-tech 863 Planning Project, among which 4 have achieved National, Ministerial and Provincial Sci-tech Progress Award.

  His main current project is “Theory and Application of Major Engineering Structural Vibration Intelligent Control”. His recent papers include “Homogeneous electrorheological liquid based on side-chain liquid crystal polysiloxanes containing p-methoxyl phenyl benzolate and its smart damper”; “Shaking table test research on insufficient-mass model of Wanzhou Yangtze river bridge”, etc. His books include “High-rise Building and Structure Wind Vibration Control Design”.

     

  Li Baihao, male, born in 1963, graduated from Tongji University, majoring in Architecture History and Theory, professor, Ph.D supervisor, dean of the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture.

  His research areas include architecture design and designing theory; urban planning history and theory; cultural heritage protection and architecture repairing.

  His main current project is “Research on Hubei Ancient Town Morphology and Cultural Characteristics”.

   

  Li Lei, female, born in 1971, was graduated from Wuhan University of Science and Technology, majoring in Management Science and Engineering, professor, Ph.D supervisor.

  Her research areas include item construction cost management, item construction evaluation and investment decision analysis, item construction knowledge management.

  Professor Li has published more than 20 papers, taking charge of projects like provincial as well as municipal projects.

  His main current project is “Research on Engineering Consulting Enterprise Knowledge Management Strategy”. His recent papers include “Knowledge Management in Project Context for D+B Contractors”; “Approach to Knowledge Management in Project Environment”, etc.

   

  Li Shujin, male, born in 1967, graduated from Wuhan University of Science and Technology, majoring in Structural Engineering, professor, Ph.D supervisor. He also holds a concurrent post as member of China Civil Engineering Society Structural Reliability Committee.

  His research areas include structural theory and calculation, structural earthquake and wind resistance, systematic identification and structural health diagnosis.

  Professor Yang has published more than 40 papers, taking charge of projects like National Science Foundation projects, international cooperation projects and provincial as well as municipal projects.

  His main current project is “Structural Health Diagnosis Based on Systematic Identification Technology”.

   

  Li Xinping, male, born in 1963, graduated from Chinese Academy of Sciences Wuhan Soil Mechanics Research Institute, majoring in Soil Mechanics, professor, Ph.D supervisor. He holds a concurrent post as director of China Soil Mechanics and Engineering Committee, etc.

  His research areas include fractured rock mass mechanical characteristics and engineering stability judgment; soil engineering deformation monitoring, forecasting theory and technology; blasting control technology and blasting effects.

  Professor Li has published more than 70 papers, taking charge of 30 projects like National Science Foundation projects and national key projects, among which 5 has achieved Provincial and Municipal Sci-tech Progress Award.

  His main current project is “Research on Soil Consolidation Technology and Theory”.

 

   

  Liu Muyu, male, born in 1963, graduated from Wuhan University of Science and Technology, majoring in Structural Engineering, professor, Ph.D supervisor, deputy director of Road Bridge and Structural Engineering Hubei Province Key Laboratory. He also holds a concurrent post as director of Wuhan Geotechnical Engineering Committee.

  His research areas include bridge structural experiment and safety evaluation theory, large-scale bridge operation control theory and application, application of high-strength lightweight aggregate concrete and carbon fiber material in bridge engineer.

  Professor Liu has published more than 50 papers, taking charge of 20 projects like National Science Foundation projects, international cooperation projects and provincial as well as municipal projects, among which 6 have achieved Provincial Sci-tech Progress Awards and National Patents.

  His main current project is “National 863 Planning2006AA11Z117: Anti-sliding, Flame-retardant and Noise-reducing Multi-functional Tunnel Pavement Structural Design and Paving Technology”.

 

   

  Lu Zhe’an, male, born in 1949, graduated from Wuhan University of Technology, majoring in Structural Engineering, professor, Ph.D supervisor, standing deputy director of Hubei Road Bridge and Structural Engineering Key Laboratory. He also holds a concurrent post as director of Hubei Road Committee, etc.

  His research areas include high performance composite concrete structure; road bridge structure; solid waste resource application and disposal.

  Professor Lu has published more than 50 papers and 2 works, taking charge of many projects like National Science Foundation projects, international cooperation projects and provincial as well as municipal projects, among which 8 has achieved Provincial and Municipal Sci-tech Progress Award.

  His main current project is “Existing Building Judgment and Transformation Key Technology Research and Demonstration”. His recent papers include “Flexure Reliability Analysis of a Strengthened Highway Bridge”, etc. His books include “Behavior of Silty Clay Boil in Highway Subgrade under Cyclic Load ”.

 

   

  Wang Qiankun, male, born in 1964, graduated from Wuhan University of Science and Technology, majoring in Structuring Engineering, professor, Ph.D supervisor, Vice-Chancellor of Wuhan University of Science and Technology.

  His research areas include civil engineering management and information; civil engineering construction and testing; real estate development and management; constructive economy and management..

 

   

  Xia Yuanyou, male, born in 1965, graduated from Beijing University of Science and Technology, majoring in Mining Engineering, research fellow, Ph.D supervisor, deputy dean of the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture. He also holds a concurrent post as Chinese member of International Rock Mechanics Committee etc.

  His research areas include rock and soil mass ground and underground engineering; rock and soil reinforcement optimization design theory and civil engineering intelligent methods.

  Professor Yang has published more than 120 papers, taking charge of 20 projects like National Science Foundation projects, Ministry of Education’s Young Core Teacher Financing Planning, and provincial as well as municipal projects, among which 3 have achieved Provincial Sci-tech Progress Award and Provincial Scientific Nature Award.

  His main current project is “Highway High and Steep Slope Instability Forecasting and Treatment Key Technology Research”. His recent papers include “The Design Method and Application of Anti-Slide Pile Based on the Matlab Optimization Toolbox”, etc. His books include “New Methods of Landslide Hazard Evaluation and Treatment Optimization and Decision”.

   

 

   Xie Weiping, male, born in 1965, graduated from Wuhan University of Science and Technology, majoring in Structural Engineering, professor, Ph.D supervisor. He also holds a concurrent post as director of Hubei Civil Engineering Committee, etc.

  His research areas include track traffic system environmental vibration; noise’s evaluation and control strategy; underground structure anti-earthquake theory and calculation method; structural calculation theory and methodology.

  Professor Yang has published more than 40 papers, taking charge of 6 projects like National Science Foundation projects, ministerial and provincial as well as municipal projects.

  His main current project is “Research on Environmental Vibration Caused by Subway Judgment and Vibration Reduction Methods”. His recent papers include “A new estimation method of the dynamic properties of soil under the action of moving load using artificial neural networks”; “The vibration measurement and evaluation due to the traffic loads”, etc.

   

 

  Yang Zhiyong, male, born in 1956, graduated from Wuhan University of Science and Technology, majoring in Structural Engineering, professor, Ph.D supervisor.

  His research areas include Structural Engineering.

  Professor Yang has published more than many papers and 1 works, taking charge of many projects like National Science Foundation projects, international cooperation projects and provincial as well as municipal projects.

  His books include “Civil Engineering Fitting Professional Graduation Designing Handbook”.

 

  

  Yuan Haiqing, male, born in 1945, graduated from Wuhan Institute of Building Materials, majoring in Management Science, professor, Ph.D supervisor.

  His research areas include bridge operation control; bridge structure long-time monitoring and damage identification.

 

  

  Zhang Jiru, male, born in 1964, graduated from Wuhan University of Science and Technology, majoring in Structural Engineering, professor, Ph.D supervisor, deputy dean of the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture. He also holds a concurrent post as member of Hubei Civil Association Geotechnical Foundation Committee, and editor of “World Earth Engineering”.

  His research areas include relationship between soil macroreaction and microscopic changes; environmental soil engineering; theory and calculation of soil anchor, pile foundation and civil architecture.

  Professor Zhang has published more than 70 papers, taking charge of many projects like National and Provincial Science Foundation projects, Ministry of Education Outstanding Teacher Financial Planning projects and provincial as well as municipal projects.

  His main current project is “Research on Micro-structure Evolution Mechanism Quantification in the process of Saturated Clay’s Consolidation”. His recent papers include “Quantitative analysis of micro-porosity of eco-material by using SEM technique”, etc.
