  Chen Hui, male, born in 1962, graduated from Wuhan Institute of Water Transport Engineering, majoring in Marine Engineering, professor, Ph.D supervisor, deputy dean of the School of Energy and Power Engineering. He also holds a concurrent post as director of Hubei Internal Combustion Engine Committee, director of Hubei Automobile Engineering Committee and editor of Journal “Ship Engineering”.

  His research areas include marine simulation and control technology.

  Professor Chen has published more than 25 papers, taking charge of 35 projects like National Science Foundation projects, Ministry of Traffic and Ministry of Education research projects and provincial as well as municipal projects, which has achieved National and Provincial Sci-tech Progress Award. He was granted “State Council Government Expert Allowance” in 1998 and Ministry of Traffic “New Century” Talent Academic Leader in 2004.

  His main current project is “Marine Engine Simulation Trainer Research and Development”.

   

   

  Fan Shidong, male, born in 1963, graduated from Dalian Maritime University, majoring in Marine Engine Repair and Producing, professor, Ph.D supervisor, deputy dean of the School of Energy and Power Engineering. He also holds a concurrent post as deputy board chairperson of China Seaport Committee Oil Port Board.

  His research areas include transportation system reliability engineering and management, oil-gas storage and transportation engineering key techniques.

  Professor Yang has published more than 30 papers, taking charge of 5 projects like National Science Foundation projects, as well as ministerial projects, among which 3 has achieved Provincial and Municipal Sci-tech Progress Award.

   

  

  Lu Kaisheng, male, born in 1946, graduated from Wuhan University of Science and Technology, majoring in Ship Mechanical Engineering, professor, Ph.D supervisor.

  His research areas include multiple rational function system and electronic network, control theory and application, processing control system, marine engineering automation, computer monitoring and control, applying software development, GPRS technique application and microcontroller and DSP development and application etc.

  Professor Lu has published more than 70 papers, taking charge of more than 10 projects like National Science Foundation projects, Ministry of Education Ph. D Professional Foundation as well as provincial foundation projects, among which 3 has achieved national and provincial Sci-tech Progress Award.

  His main current project is “Research on Multiple Rational Function System Controlling and Observability”. His recent papers include “Existence condition of state equations of linear active networks over F(z)”, “Class of rational function matrices that satisfy two properties of linear systems and structural controllability”, etc.

   

   

  Xiang Yang, female, born in 1962, graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University, majoring in Vibration Impact Noise, professor, Ph.D supervisor. She also holds a concurrent post as editors of “Journal of Wuhan University of Science and Technology” and “Ship Engineering”.

  Her research areas include vibration and noise control technology, status monitoring and fault diagnosis technology and signal operation technology.

  Professor Xiang has published more than 50 papers, taking charge of projects like National Science Foundation projects, international cooperation projects and provincial as well as municipal projects, which have achieved Provincial and Municipal Sci-tech Progress Award.

  Her main current project is “Research on Vibration and Noise Control Technology”.

   

   

  Yan Xinping, male, born in 1959, graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong University, majoring in Mechanical Engineering, professor, Ph.D supervisor, Vice-Chancellor of WHUT. He also hold a concurrent post as member of International Standard Organization ISO/TC108/SC5 Technique Committee, member of National Mechanical Vibration and Impact Standardization Technique Committee and editor of several journals at home and abroard.

  His research areas include transportation mechanical monitoring, diagnosis and control, transportation safety technology and intelligent traffic engineering.

  Professor Yang has published more than 140 papers and 5 works, taking charge of 30 projects like National Science Foundation projects, international cooperation projects and provincial as well as provincial projects, among which 14 has achieved National and Provincial Sci-tech Progress Award. He was granted “State Council Government Special Allowance” in 1994.

  His main current project is “Research on Asphalt Pavement Micro-morphology’s Influence on Anti-slide Performance”. His recent papers include “Research on net control model of distributed traffic simulation”; “Pavement distress image automatic classification based on DENSITY-based neural network”, etc. His books include “Intelligent Traffic System-principle, Method and Application” and “Modern Logistics of Traffic and Transportation”.

   

   

  Yang Jianguo, male, born in 1959, graduated from Wuhan Institute of Water Transport Engineering, majoring in Marine Internal Combustion Engine, professor, Ph.D supervisor, dean of the School of Energy and Power Engineering. He also holds a concurrent post as deputy director of China Internal Combustion Engine Committee High Power Diesel Engine Board etc.

  His research areas include diesel engine monitoring, diagnosis and control, vibration and noise control.

  Professor Yang has published more than 50 papers, taking charge of 10 projects like National Science Foundation projects, international cooperation projects and provincial as well as municipal projects, which has achieved Provincial and Municipal Sci-tech Progress Award.

  His main current project is “Research on Power Station Diesel Engine Monitoring Techniques”. His recent papers include “Vibration diagnosis of main journal bearings for diesel engines”; “Development of on-line monitoring and diagnosing system for dredger”, etc. His books include “Diesel Vibration Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis”.

   

  

  Zhou Ruiping, male, born in 1964, graduated from Wuhan University of Science and Technology, majoring in Marine Engineering, professor, Ph.D supervisor, dean of the department of Thermal Engineering. He also holds a concurrent post as Hubei Internal Diesel Engine Committee.

  His research areas include Ship Power Plant System Performance Analysis, vibration and noise control technology, diesel engine monitoring diagnosis and electronic control technology.

  Professor Yang has published more than 30 papers and 2 works, taking charge of 27 projects like National Science Foundation projects, international cooperation projects and provincial as well as municipal projects, which have achieved Provincial and Municipal Sci-tech Progress Award.

  His main current project is “Ship’s Propulsion Shafting Calculating Software Research”. His recent papers include “Improvement of finite element analysis in the propulsion shaft alignment”, etc. His books include “Ship’s Power Plant”.

 

   

  Zhou Xincong, male, born in 1964, graduated from Wuhan University of Science and Technology, majoring in Vehicle Operation Engineering, professor, Ph.D supervisor, director of the School of Energy and Power Engineering. He also holds a concurrent post as senior member of China Mechanical Engineering Committee, director of Mechanical Problem Diagnosis Committee.

  His research areas include transportation mechanical monitoring, diagnosis and optimization control; tribology and surface engineering.

  Professor Zhou has published more than 30 papers, taking charge of 4 national and ministerial projects which have achieved Provincial Sci-tech Progress Award.
