  Chen Lei, male, born in 1944, majoring in Education Economy and Management, professor, Ph. D supervisor, visiting scholar of Kanagawa University of Japan, former vice party secretary of WUT, standing director of China’s Higher Education Association, consultant of WUT’s Art Education Committee, director of Education Economy and Development Research Center, etc.

  His current research areas cover higher education management, higher education economy, and private-owned higher education. He has undertaken projects of Ministry of Education, key research projects of Hubei Province, national reform projects, national 10th and 11th five-year plan projects, etc. He has published more than 10 books and 50 papers, among which 10 have been quoted by key journals.

  Professor Chen has won the first prize of Hubei Provincial Government Excellent Teaching Achievement Award. He is also a special young expert of Hubei Province with prominent contributions.

   

  Chen Xiaofang, female, born in 1967, majoring in Management Science and Engineering, professor, Ph. D supervisor, vice director of Department of Audit of WUT, member of Chinese Registered Accountant Association, member of Academic Committee of Hubei Provincial Internal Audit, vice secretary of European and American Alumni, standing director of Economy Group of Hubei Province, advanced visiting scholar in England for one year.

  Her research areas cover audit theory and its application research, accounting theory and its application research. 

  Professor Chen has published over 50 papers, mainly in important journals like “Audit Research”, “Chinese Audit” and “Finance Monthly”, etc, among which 10 have been quoted to key journals and 5 have been collected into ISTP, e.g. “The Econometrical Model and Analysis on Relationship between Financial Backing and Regional Economic Development”, “Model of Multi-agent based on Personalized Transactions in Electronic Commerce”, etc.

  Her main current projects include 3 provincial projects and 6 other projects, e.g. “Research on Informationization and Accounting Mode Reform of Private-owned Enterprises”, and “Mode Selection and Process Design of Sci-tech Enterprise Cost Control of Private-owned Enterprises”. She has also presided over some research Foundation projects of WUT and has won Social Science Excellent Achievement of Wuhan City as well as publishing 2 teaching books and 1 works.

   

  Deng Mingran, male, born in 1953, majoring in Management Science and Engineering, professor, Ph. D supervisor, vice chairman of Higher Engineering College Teaching Committee of Chinese Accounting Association, the Management branch, standing director of China’s Mechanical Engineering Association, standing director of China’s Enterprise Management Association, vice chairman of Hubei County Economy Association, standing director of Hubei Administration Management Association, vice director of Editors Board of Journal of WUT, standing director of Hubei Association of Economics, etc.

  His current research areas cover financial management, capital running theory and method, investment optimization theory and practice, research on modern enterprise system and operation strategy.

  He has published approximately 100 papers, among which 20 have been collected into ISTP system. He has also published 1 book and 16 teaching text books, together with more than 50 projects, both at national level and provincial level, which have won many prizes in China.

   

  Diao Zhaofeng, male, born in 1962, majoring in Management Science and Engineering, professor, Ph. D supervisor, vice dean of School of Management of WUT, standing director of China’s Association of Building Material Enterprise Management, vice director of Hubei Provincial Association of Quantity Economy, vice director of Wuhan Systematic Engineering Association, government councilor of Hanyang District of Wuhan City, chief councilor of Wuhan Modern Enterprise Development Center.

  His research areas cover enterprise strategic management, management innovation, and innovative management. He has undertaken approximately 10 national and provincial projects, 3 of which have won the second and third prize of Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Progress. Furthermore, he has published over 60 papers and 3 teaching books, among which some papers have been collected into EI as excellent papers, e.g. “The Innovation of Car Selling Modes of China in the Experience Economy”, “Innovative Research Based on Knowledge-Staff Management of Chinese Auto Industry”, “Early Warning Management System of Human Capital Investment in Private-owned Enterprise”, “Analysis of Virtual R&D Organization”, etc.

  His main current projects are “Research on Enterprise Strategic Innovation based on Customers’ Value” and “Research on Optimizing Enterprise Business Process and Management System”.

   

  Feng Yanfei, male, born in 1966, majoring in Management Science and Engineering, professor, Ph. D supervisor, director of Department of Organization of WUT.

  His research areas cover technical economy, industry economy, enterprise strategic management, education economy, etc.

  Professor Feng has published 3 books, including “Research on China’s Higher Education Industry” and “Logistics of Higher Education”. He has published more than 50 papers, among which 7 have been collected into international conference, 7 have been collected into ISTP, 1 has been quoted by People’s University of China and 1 quoted by Xinhua Journal. He has participated in various ISO9000 identification consultations, presided over project of National Natural Science Foundation and 10 other provincial/ministerial projects, whose research Foundation has reached RMB 2 million.

  Some of his papers are as follows: Research on the Supporting System of Chinese Automobile Part Industry; Study on Time and Process Management of Fuzzy Front End based on time value; The Management Strategy of B2B Exchanges; The Systematic Appraisement of Quality-Benefit Enterprise; Research on the Development of Technical Market; On the Role of Technical Intermediary Organ, etc.

   

  Hu Shuhua, male, born in 1961, majoring in Management Science and Engineering, Ph. D supervisor, professor, deputy director of Department of Information and Industry of Hubei Province, deputy director of Chinese Democratic League, Hubei Branch, standing committee member of Hubei Committee of Political Consultative Conference, vice chairman of Hubei Policy Research Institution, deputy director of Hubei Technical Economy Institution, vice chairman of Institution of Chinese Higher Education Value Engineering, vice chairman of Institution of Chinese Higher Education Technical Economy, guest researcher of Department of Economics of Tokyo University, member of Product Innovation and Management Association of America, receiving “State Council Special Allowance”.

  His research area mainly covers product innovation and management and regional innovation management. Furthermore, he has presided over 4 projects of National Natural Science Foundation, 1 project of National Social Science Foundation together with several national key projects and 12 provincial enterprise and policy research projects.

  Meanwhile, he has also published 6 books, namely, “Value Engineering”, “National Innovation Strategy”, “Development Strategy Research of Central China”, “Research on National Automobile Innovation Engineering”, etc. Moreover, his projects have achieved many awards, including “Hubei Science and Technology Progress Award” and “Wuhan Science and Technology Progress Award”.

  He is now the research expert on sci-tech planning strategy of the State Council, consultant member of Hubei People’s Government and Wuhan Municipal People’s Government.

   

  Liu Guoxin, male, born in 1957, majoring in Management Science and Engineering, professor, Ph. D supervisor, vice director of Hubei Association of Youth Science, member of Advanced Experts of Hubei Province, member of Digital Manufacturing Informationization Expert of Hubei Province, vice council of China’s Association of Systematic Engineering, the Youth Branch Association, professor, Ph. D supervisor.

  His research areas cover technical innovation strategy, business starting management, industry innovation and sci-tech policy.

  In recent five years, he has published over 100 papers, among which 9 have been collected into ISTP and 9 have been collected into international academic conference. Professor Luo has presided and completed 25 national, provincial and corporation projects, among which 4 have won provincial/municipal Science and Technology Progress Award and 1 has won provincial Soft Science Achievement Award. Furthermore, he has edited 7 books, including “Business Starting Risk Management”, “Modern Industry Management”, “Technical Economics”, etc. His main projects are as follows: Research on Interplay Mechanism of Industry Organization and Technological Innovation—project of National Natural Science Foundation; Investigation of Foreign Investment Efficiency and Improvement Countermeasure of State-owned Enterprises—project of National Social Science Foundation; Research on Prediction and Countermeasure of Hubei New Economic Growth Point—key project of Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Department, etc.

   

  Luo Fan, female, born in 1963, majoring in Mechanical Design and Theory, professor, Ph. D supervisor, standing committee member of China’s Emergency Management Committee, member of China’s Management Research Committee, visiting scholar on human resource development in the University of Minnesota in America from Nov. 2004 to Nov. 2005.

  His research areas include human resources development and management, hazard early warning management, organizational behavior and management and strategic management.

  Professor Luo has presided and participated in many projects, including 4 National Natural Science Foundation project, 1 project of international conference of National Natural Science Foundation, 7 provincial/ministerial projects, 1 Doctorate Foundation project, 1 Government project, 1 enterprise project and 9 other projects. He has also published over 60 papers, among which 4 are indexed by EI and 4 are indexed by ISTP. Furthermore, he has also published 10 English papers, 4 books and participated in 8 international conferences. He has won many prizes, including the first and the third prizes of Teaching Achievement Award of Hubei Province, etc.

   

  Luo Ronggui, male, born in 1943, professor, Ph. D supervisor, majoring in Applied Mathematics, director of China’s Systematic Engineering Association, vice director of Systematic Engineering Association of Hubei Province.

  His current research areas cover systematic modeling and optimization, economic prediction and decision, game theory and modern economics, enterprise strategy.

  Professor Luo has undertaken 4 projects of national research programs, among which 3 are National Natural Science Foundation projects and the other one is the key sci-tech project of Education Ministry. Furthermore, he has also presided over 9 other provincial/ministerial key research projects and 10 other enterprise research projects, which have won 4 second and third prizes of Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award and 1 second prize of Wuhan Science and Technology Progress Award.

  He has published more than 150 papers, among which 30 have been collected into SCI, EI and ISTP index systems, 10 of which have been rewarded the first and second prize of Hubei Provincial Excellent Thesises. Moreover, he has also published 4 books and 2 teaching text books.

   

 

  Nie Guihua, male, born in 1957, majoring in Management Science and Engineering, director of Department of Personnel of WUT, professor, Ph. D supervisor, director of National Association of Computer Simulation and Information Technology, vice director of Hubei Provincial Electronic Business Association, director of Hubei Provincial Systematic Engineering Association, standing director of Wuhan Municipal Systematic Engineering.

  His research areas cover E-commerce, commercial intelligence, human resource management, information resource management, knowledge management and engineering.

  Professor Nie has published over 100 papers, among which 20 have been collected into EI, e.g. “Exploiting Semantic Descriptions of Products and User Profiles for Recommender Systems”, ISTP, e.g. “Research of Collaborative Filtering Algorithm Base on the Semantic Similarity” and 2 have been collected into IEEE.

  His main projects include “Research on the Knowledge Grid Based Intelligent Electronic Commerce Recommender Systems” —project of National Natural Science Foundation, “Research and Development of E-commerce and Modern Logistic Integration Technology”—the 11th Five-year Plan of National Science and Technology, etc.

  He has won 1 national invention patent, 1 third prize of Wuhan Science and Technology Progress Award, 2 second prize of Excellent Papers on Natural Science of Hubei Province.

   

  Wang Aimin, male, born in 1961, professor, Ph. D supervisor, majoring in Management Science and Engineering, dean of School of International Education, director of Chinese Marketing Association, visiting scholar of Kyoto University of Japan. His current research areas cover enterprise strategy management and marketing.

   

  Wang Hu, male, born in 1961, majoring in Information Management, professor, Ph. D supervisor, professor, dean of the Department of Information System and Information Management, guest professor of Guangxi University of Technology, director of Institute of Enterprise Informationization, studying in South Queensland University of Australia as a visiting scholar from February 2006 to February 2007.

  His research areas mainly cover information system and information management. Professor Wang has joined in the writing of the book “IPMBOK” as a core editor and has published two teaching books by himself, namely, “Management Information System” and “E-commerce”.

  He has published over 60 papers on Journal of Science and Technology, Journal of Computer Systematic Application, Journal of Computer Engineering and Application, etc., among which 30 have been collected into key journals and over 10 have been collected into foreign journals or international academic conferences.

  Moreover, professor Wang has presided over 20 national or provincial projects, including 863/CIMS project, projects of Hubei Provincial S&T Department and projects of big enterprises.

   

  Xie Kefan, male, born in 1963, majoring in Management Science and Engineering, professor, Ph. D supervisor, vice dean of School of Management of WUT, director of Science and Technology Management Research Association of Hubei Province, vice director of Wuhan Systematic Engineering Research Association, director of China’s Science and Technology Policy Research Association, guest professor or part-time professor of many famous universities, such as Manchester University, etc. He finished his post-doctoral study in Japan’s Kyoto University during 1998-2000.

  His research areas cover risk management, strategic management and innovative management. He has undertaken approximately 20 projects, including 3 projects of National Natural Science Foundation, 1 project of Fok Ying-tung Young Foundation, 1 project of Excellent Young Teachers Sponsored by Ministry of Education, 1 project of national “863 Plan”. Professor Xie has won 7 provincial/ministerial science and technology achievements, the 1st prize of Chinese Reform Advice Competition and Special Award of National Paper Competition on Technical Economy. He has designed various management strategies, business process and organizational reunion plans, strategic alliance plans and risk management plans for SGMW, Dongfeng Electric Automobile Co. Ltd, etc.

  Professor Xie has published approximately 170 papers and 9 teaching books, among which the representatives are “Risk Management of New Product Development”, “Enterprise Risk Prevention”, “Technology Innovation Risk Management”, “Market Risk Early Warning”, “Enterprise Survival Risk” and “Competition Strategy”, etc.

  

 

  Yan Jingdong, male, born in 1962, majoring in Technical Economy and Management, professor, Ph. D supervisor, vice dean of the department of Technical Economy, Advanced Researcher of Enterprise Innovation Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Management Science.

  His research areas include industry innovation, regional innovation, science policy management, and enterprise strategy and payment management.

  Professor Yan has published 7 books, three of which as the chief editor, and the other 4 as member of editors. Meanwhile, he has also published over 70 papers, presiding and participating in 13 national and provincial projects and 8 other projects, among which 1 has won the first prize of “Sci-tech Progress Award” of Hubei Province, 2 has won the second prize and 3 has won the third prize.

   

  Yang Qing, male, born in 1962, majoring in Management Science, professor, Ph. D supervisor, dean of the department of Technical Economy and Public Management, Evaluation Expert of Management Science Department of National Natural Science Foundation, Evaluation Expert of National Social Science Foundation, member of Emergency Management Expert Consultation Committee of Hubei Province.

  His research areas include business starting management and risk investment, hazard and disaster management, social comprehensive evaluation of technical economy and multi-target decision, development strategy and policy planning.

  Professor Yang has published more than 100 papers and 11 books, taking charge of 20 projects like National Science Foundation projects, international cooperation projects and provincial as well as municipal projects, among which 10 has achieved Provincial and Municipal Sci-tech Progress Award. He was granted “Provincial Government Expert Allowance” in 2003.

  His main current project is “Research on Exploration and Cultivation Assessing System of Investment Value of Sci-tech Medium-sized Enterprises”. His recent papers include “Research on Comprehensive Ability Evaluation System of Urban Disaster Emergency Management”; “Evaluation of Risk Investment Management and Its Index System”, etc. His books include “Technical Economics” and “Investment Evaluation”.

   

 

  Yu Jintian, male, born in 1966, majoring in Management Science and Engineering, professor, Ph. D supervisor, director of Hubei Association of Young Sci-tech Workers, studying in Eindhoven University of Technology in Holland during 2004-2005.

  His research areas include technical innovation management, enterprise management and system innovation, strategy management, regional science and technology and economic development, investment evaluation decision.

  Professor Yu has presided over 30 national and provincial projects, among which there are 3 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 National Social Science Foundation, 1 Fok Ying-tung Young Teachers Foundation project and 1 international cooperation project. He has also published more than 4 books and over 60 papers.

   

 

  Zhang Youtang, male, born in 1957, majoring in Enterprise Management and Financial Management, visiting scholar of University of California, the Berkley Branch College on advanced finance management, professor, Ph. D supervisor, director of China’s Accountant Association the Career Branch, standing director of Hubei Provincial Accountant Association, vice director of Hubei Provincial Higher Education Accountant Association, expert member of Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Project Evaluation, etc.

  His research areas cover management of financial early warning evaluation, strategic cost and investment and financing management, biding and sci-tech project management, finance and accounting control.

  His main current projects include projects of National Natural Science Foundation, Soft Science Foundation of Ministry of Science and Technology, the 10th Five-year Plan of Education Ministry, etc. Professor Zhang has published over 80 papers and 10 teaching books which have won many prizes in China.

 

  

  Zhang zhongzhen, male, born in 1946, majoring in Systematic Engineering, professor, Ph. D supervisor, studying in York University of England on Economics and Thames College of Technology of London on mathematics and statistics during 1988-1989.

  His current research areas cover financial engineering, optimization theory and method. He has long been researching on optimization theory and method through which he has proposed a computation method based on twiddle operation and published them on the websites of Gould and Toint.

  Professor Zhang undertook a project of National Natural Science Foundation from 2000 to 2002 on “Investment Optimization Model and Computation Method of Transact Cost”. Moreover, he has published many papers, such as “An Efficient Method for Solving the Local Minimum of Indefinite Quadratic Programming”, etc.
