  Gong Wenqi, male, born in 1948, majoring in superficial and colloid chemistry, Ph. D supervisor, professor, deputy director of Chinese Mining Union, the Mineral Processing Committee, member of Chinese Nonferrous Metal Committee, and director of Chinese Silicate Association, the Nonmetal Branch.

  His research area mainly covers mineral processing and superficial chemistry, Microorganism Technology of Resources and Environment, and New Environmental Materials. Furthermore, he has presided over a number of national key projects which have won many awards.

  

  Yu Yongfu, male, born in Nanzhao County of Henan Province, graduated from Central South Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, majoring in Mineral Processing, professor, Ph.D supervisor. 

  Part-time Titles: Director of the Chinese Society of Rare Earths (CSRE); Senior Consultant of China Mining Association; Consultant of Quality Standardization Committee of China Iron and Steel Association.

  Yu Yongfu was elected as Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1995 and came to Wuhan University of Technology in October 2000. He is now the chief professor of WUT, vice director of WUT's Academic Degree Committee, Honorary Academician of School of Resources and Environmental Engineering, professor, Ph.D Supervisor, in charge of WUT’s relative disciplinary construction and teaching as well as researching affairs.

  He has been engaging in mining processing researches on Iron Ore, Polymetallic Ore, Rare Earth Metal Ore and Brass, Cobalt, Sulphide Ore, and obtaining over 10 important sci-tech achievements at international leading level.

  

  Zhang Gaoke, male, born in 1965, majoring in Materials, Ph. D supervisor, professor, guest professor of Pennsylvania State University from 2005 to 2006.

  His research area mainly covers synthesis of new environmental materials and its application in environmental pollution control, new technology of water treatment and its application, solid waste resources, environmental chemistry of heavy metal pollution and its restoration theory and technology.Furthermore, he has presided over a number of national key projects which have won many awards.

  

  Zhang Yimin, male, born in 1954, majoring in Mineral ProcessEngineering, Ph. D supervisor, professor, dean of School of Resources and Environmental Engineering, director of Chinese Metal Association, the Mineral Processing Branch, member of National Manganese Committee, standing director of Chinese Nonmetal Mineral Association, editor member of Journal of Wuhan University of Technology as well as Protection and Utilization of Mineral Resources.

  His research area mainly covers deep mineral processing and solid waste treatment. Furthermore, he has presided over a number of national key projects which have won many awards.

  

  Zhang Guang, male, born in 1958, majoring in Geotechnical Engineering, Ph. D supervisor, professor.

  His research area mainly covers mining engineering, including testing technology of geotechnical engineering, uncertainty analysis of geotechnical engineering, remote sensing of rock mechanics; environmental and geotechnical engineering.Furthermore, he has presided over a number of national key projects which have won many awards.

  

  Zhu Yingbo, male, born in 1944, majoring in Mineral Processing, Ph. D supervisor, professor, director of Chinese Silicate Association, the Nonmetal Mineral Committee, director of Chinese Association of Nonmetal Mineral Industry, director of Chinese Granule Association.

  His research area mainly covers ultra-fine grinding, classification techniques and equipment, and deep processing of nonmetal minerals. Furthermore, he has presided over a number of national key projects which have won many awards.
