The party of State Power Investment Corporation Research Institute Visited WUT for Exchanges on Cooperation on Hydrogen Energy Technology
  On March 30, Seven heads, including Li Lianrong, President of the State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) Research Institute, Zhang Yinguang, General Manager of Hydrogen Energy Technology, and Gong Weidong, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Hubei branch of State Power Investment Corporation Research Institute, visited WUT for research on scientific and technological innovation and industrial cooperation in hydrogen energy. President Zhang Qingjie, Vice President Liu Zuyuan, leaders and experts of relevant unites such as Center of Science and Technology Cooperation and Research Translation and New Materials Research Institute participated in the discussion and exchange.

  Vice President Liu Zuyuan, on behalf of the WUT, extended a warm welcome to President Li Lianrong and his party, and introduced WUT’s specialty characteristics and discipline construction, as well as foreign scientific and technological cooperation and research translation. He said that WUT would give full play to its advantages in science and technology, promoting cooperation in hydrogen energy technology with SPIC Group. Then, General Manager Zhang Yinguang introduced the progress of hydrogen energy work in SPIC Group. Meanwhile, President Li Lianrong presented the new energy development strategy of the SPIC Group and put forward the hope of developing cooperation in science and technology and talents training with WUT, giving priority to hydrogen energy. 


  In addition, President Zhang Qingjie fully affirmed the strategic significance of the development of hydrogen energy by SPIC Group. He noted that WUT will establish a comprehensive strategic partnership with the SPIC to carry out in-depth cooperation in new energy fields such as hydrogen energy technology and solar photovoltaic power generation, jointly building a joint SPIC-WUT training base for talents.
