WUT Signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreements with Heilongjiang Maritime Safety Administration and Lianyungang Maritime Safety Administration Respectively
  
  On April 3rd, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement was held in Yujiatou campus between WUT and Heilongjiang Maritime Safety Administration and Lianyungang Maritime Safety Administration. Zhao Jing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of WUT, Miao Changwen, Director of Heilongjiang Maritime Safety Administration, Zhang Hao, Director of Lianyungang Maritime Safety Administration, and the heads of WUT’s Social Cooperation and Alumni Work Office, Teaching Affairs Office, Center of Science and Technology Cooperation and Research Translation, Navigation Education Quality Office, the School of Navigation, the School of Energy and Power Engineering, the Intelligent Transport Systems Center and other units attended the signing ceremony.

  Deputy Secretary Zhao Jing, on behalf of WUT, welcomed Miao Changwen, Director of the Heilongjiang Maritime Safety Administration, and Zhang Hao, Director of the Lianyungang Maritime Safety Administration and their party, while introducing the WUT’s basic situation and development achievements. He said that the WUT has achieved fruitful results in personnel training, scientific research, exchange and cooperation in collaboration with the Heilongjiang Maritime Safety Administration and the Lianyungang Maritime Safety Administration. He also wished that exchanges would continue to be strengthened and cooperation would be deepened to achieve the win-win development.

  Director Miao Changwen of Heilongjiang Maritime Safety Administration and Director Zhang Hao of Lianyungang Maritime Safety Administration respectively introduced their own maritime development and cooperation with WUT in recent years, and expressed their gratitude for the support and help by the WUT. They hoped to take this strategic cooperation agreement as an opportunity to further improve the cooperation mechanism, carry out pragmatic and efficient cooperation on the basis of the national strategy, thus contributing to maritime development.

  Deputy Secretary Zhao Jing, on behalf of WUT, signed the strategic cooperation framework agreements with Heilongjiang Maritime Safety Administration and Lianyungang Maritime Safety Administration respectively.

  After the signing ceremony, the heads of the School of Navigation, the School of Energy and Power Engineering, and the Intelligent Transport Systems Center introduced their respective units, while the participants interacted with each other around scientific research, talent training and further cooperation.

  After the meeting, participants visited WUT’s Navigation Museum and the School of Navigation ship handling Simulator Laboratory.
