With great efforts to build an eminent faculty team, WUT provides solid talent supports so as to build a world-famous university with distinct characteristics.
WUT has a high-qualified, experienced and conscientious faculty team with over 5,000 teaching and administration staff, including 10 recipients of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, 2 National Teaching Masters, 49 experts receiving the State Council Special Government Allowance, 15 recipients of Provincial Special Allowance, and 24 Provincial Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Experts. The university vigorously implements an internationalization strategy for talent development, having appointed 12 Strategic Scientists, 40 Chief Professors in key disciplines, 34 Scientific and Technological Innovation Talents, 19 Education and Teaching Masters, and 112 Young Top-notch Talents.
