Stefan W. Hell, the winner of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry and professor at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry, has been invited to give an online lecture on “Functional Nanomaterials” to WUT students and teachers. Stay tuned and join in!
Global Vision Lectures was initiated by the International Office of WUT, aiming at providing a high-level and multi-field international academic exchange platform for teachers and students by uniting teaching and scientific research units to hold a series of high-end academic lectures. This project is designed to promote scientific research exchanges, to broaden the international horizons of teachers and students, and to further enhance their international communication capacity. The fifth lecture will be held on October 13, and the activity information is as follows:

Biography:
Stefan W. Hell is the winner of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry and the professor at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry, who has published more than 400 papers and received over 30 international awards. His major achievement is super-resolution microscopic imaging, which proposed the principle of super-resolution imaging by excited radiation loss that breaks through the limit of optical diffraction for the first time, and has been successfully verified on the instrument.
