Under the guidance of the Summer Excellence School, the series of 2024 Summer Global Vision Lectures is initiated by the International Office of WUT in collaboration with academic and research units, aiming to thoroughly implement WUT’s internationalization strategy, promote the opening-up of education, broaden international horizons, and further enhance the internationalization capabilities of both faculty and students. Biography:

Professor D.W. Bahnemann is the Director of the Megagrant Laboratory “Photoactive Nanocomposite Materials” at St. Petersburg State University (St. Petersburg, Russia). He has published more than 460 papers, and achieved an H-idex of 74 with over 37,000 citations. His main research interests are the preparation and application of photocatalysts, the study of reaction kinetics and the exploration of photocatalysis mechanisms.
