Biography:
Professor Takeshi Toi is a distinguished professor at the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Chuo University, Japan. He earned his Ph.D. from Chuo University in 1996. With nearly four decades of expertise in acoustic engineering, he has served as a council member of the Japan Society of Noise Control Engineering and a committee member of the Environmental Engineering Division of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers. As an internationally renowned expert in vibration and noise control, he has led over 30 industry-academia collaborative projects. His pioneering innovations include automotive sound field optimization and tactile-audio cooperative feedback systems, which have been applied to premium products by companies such as Toyota and Mitsubishi. His groundbreaking "Pleasant Acoustic Design" theory has been incorporated into Japanese automotive industry standards. He has received 17 prestigious awards, including the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers Award and the Design Engineering Excellence Award. He has authored more than 100 academic papers and published seminal works such as 
Vibration and Noise Control, widely regarded as a classic in the field.
