On August 1st, 2010, WUT delegation led by Party Secretary Liu Wei and President Zhang Qingjie visited China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM) in Beijing, accompanied by Vice President Yan Xinping, Zhang Lianmeng, Assistant President Chen Wen and leaders from related departments. They were warmly welcomed by CNBM leaders including Board Chairman Song Zhiping and General Manager Yao Yan. CNBM Vice Party Secretary Hao Zhenghua, General Manager Assistant Jiang Xiang, Party Secretary of China Building Materials Research Institute Wang Yiming, Vice Director Xu Hui participated in the signing ceremony.

WUT President Zhang Qingjie and CNBM GM Yao Yan signed the “‘985 Projects’ Green Building Materials and New Materials S&T Innovation Platform Co-Construction Agreement”.

Both parties hoped to further promote friendly cooperation, centering on “985 Projects” platform to carry out strategic, original, advanced research together to accelerate the commercialization of research findings and achieve co development with complementary advantages.
