Recently, the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology released the 2020 evaluation results of National Base for International Scientific and Technological Cooperation. Two national bases of WUT – the “ International Joint Laboratory of Advanced Technology for Materials Synthesis and Processing” underpinned by the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Technology for Materials Synthesis and Processing and the “International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Base for Environmental-friendly Materials for Architectures” based on the State Key Laboratory of Silicate Materials for Architectures – have passed the evaluation with excellent grades.
According to the relevant provisions of the Regulation of National Bases for International Scientific and Technological Cooperation ([2011] NO. 316), the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology organized experts to conduct a systematic and comprehensive performance evaluation of 719 National Bases for International Scientific and Technological Cooperation across China in 2020. After a comprehensive evaluation of formal review, experts’ online letter review, conference appraisal and other evaluation steps, 104 of the total bases were assessed as excellent.
In recent years, WUT has attached great importance to international scientific and technological cooperation, continuously expanding and deepening international cooperation of scientific and technological innovation. WUT constantly increases the number and upgrades the level of international scientific and technological cooperation projects on the basis of enriching the content of international scientific and technological cooperation, fully leveraging the leading and exemplary role of the university’s international bases for scientific and technological cooperation.
