On December 18th, the awarding ceremony of The 2021 Best Employer in China was held online. On the ceremony, Ning Xiaohua, the deputy director of the information consultation and career guidance center for college students of MOE (Ministry of Education), announced the list of The Best Chinese Universities among Employers in 2021. WUT was awarded as The Model of Employment among Chinese Universities in 2021.
The 2021 Best Employer in China is jointly initiated by Zhaopin and the Institute of Social Science Survey of Peking University and has been held for 17 years, becoming the most authoritative and credible list in the human resource field in China. Professional institutions, including the National School of Development of Peking University, China Association of Labor Economics, and Harvard Business Review, participate in the organization and evaluation of the list.
The Best Employer in China focuses on the employment of Chinese college graduates, encourages the school-enterprise cooperation and adapts to the current trend of employment, electing The Best Chinese Universities in 2021 for four categories, which are The Best Employment Model Award (20 universities), The Best Employment Talents Award (24 universities), The Most Innovative Award (22 universities), and Award for the Most Popular University among Employers (26 universities).
Since 2016, WUT has been on the list of The Best Chinese Universities among Employers for six years: Award for the Most Popular University among Employers (2016), The Best Employment Talents Award (2017), The Most Innovative Award (2018), Award for the Most Popular University among Employers (2019), The Most Popular Award for Digital Employment (2020), The Model of Employment among Chinese Universities (2021).
