On July 12th, Wuhan University of Technology and SKEMA Business School held anonline signing ceremony for a cooperative agreement. Vice President Liu Chunjiang of WUT and Vice President Celine Gobe of SKEMA Business School as the representatives of each side signed the agreement. Heads of the International Exchange and Cooperation Center, Undergraduate School, Graduate School, School of Management, School of Economics of WUT and representatives of SKEMA Business School attended the ceremony.

Vice President Liu Chunjiang stated in his speech that there was a solid foundation of cooperation and lots of remarkable cooperative results between WUT and many French universities. With the increasing bilateral cooperation between China and France in science and education, this cooperation agreement with SKEMA Business School, which has distinctive disciplinary characteristics, will further deepen the educational exchange between WUT and French institutions, broaden the international horizon of students of WUT, and cultivate their global competence. The meeting with SKEMA business school colleagues at WUT was highly anticipated.

SKEMA Business School Vice President Celine Gobe said that SKEMA Business School always attached great importance to cooperation with Chinese universities, and this contract with Wuhan University of Technology was of great significance. The two sides had had efficient and fruitful communication and coordination in the early stage. It was hoped that both sides would take this signing as an opportunity to integrate high-quality educational resources and jointly promote the academic construction, talent training, faculty exchange and international exchange level of both sides.

SKEMA Business School is one of the five business schools in France that held the SAI joint examination, and is one of the business schools with distinctive disciplinary characteristics that have been awarded the three authoritative accreditations of EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA in business. After this signing ceremony, WUT and SKEMA Business Svhool will provide channels and support for the exchange for scholars and students of both sides, jointly support the bilateral teaching and academic exchange activities.The focuses will be scientific research cooperation, mutual visits of teachers and students and joint training of students in the fields of management, marketing, business and strategy, finance, etc., so as to further promote practical cooperation and exchange between the university and French universities.
