According to the Essential Science Indicators (ESI) released by Clarivate Analytics on November 9th, 2023, BIOLOGY & BIOCHEMISTRY of WUT entered the ESI global top 1% ranking for the first time. Up to now, nine disciplines of WUT have been listed in the ESI global top 1% ranking: MATERIALS SCIENCE, CHEMISTRY, ENGINEERING, PHYSICS, ENVIRONMENT/ECOLOGY, COMPUTER SCIENCE, GEOSCIENCES, SOCIAL SCIENCES, GENERAL, and BIOLOGY & BIOCHEMISTRY. Among them, MATERIALS SCIENCE, CHEMISTRY and ENGINEERING have entered the ESI global top 0.1% ranking.
