WUT host the 3rd International Workshop on Advanced Materials Synthesis and Processing Technology

On November 2, the 3rd International Workshop on Advanced Materials Synthesis and Processing Technology was successfully held at Wuhan University of Technology (WUT). Meng Fangbing, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee attended the opening ceremony. 

Meng Fangbing extended a warm welcome and heartfelt appreciation to the participating experts and scholars. In his opening remarks, Meng introduced WUT’s profile and recent developments in materials science, emphasizing the significance of this workshop in uniting expertise from around the world to advance the field of advanced materials. He expressed hope that this academic gathering would address emerging scientific challenges and foster research breakthroughs in the field of advanced materials.

Professor Ho Won Jang from Seoul National University, South Korea, delivered remarks on behalf of the invited experts, expressing gratitude for the invitation. He highlighted the critical role of international academic exchange in driving scientific and technological progress, applauding the workshop as a valuable platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration. He wished participants a productive conference filled with meaningful outcomes.

The academic sessions featured keynote presentations from eminent scholars, including Professor Takashi Goto from Tohoku University, Professor Wei Pan from Tsinghua University, Professor Ho Won Jang from Seoul National University, Professor Muhammad Aziz from the University of Tokyo, Professor Soo Young Kim from Korea University, Professor Saurav Goel from London South Bank University, Professor Young Hwan Han from the University of California, Davis, and Professors Rong Tu and Fei Chen from WUT.

Throughout the workshop, experts engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanged insights on cutting-edge topics in materials science. This collaborative event not only fostered academic synergy in the materials science and engineering discipline but also strengthened international and domestic scholarly exchange, further elevating the global prominence of WUT’s materials science program.
