From November 8th to 10th, the Hubei Province College Students’ Athletics Championship was held. The event attracted nearly 2,000 athletes and coaches representing more than 80 universities across the province. WUT fielded a team of 43 athletes competing in both the high-level group and the sunshine group. They won a total of 8 gold, 9 silver, and 4 bronze medals, including 6 gold, 7 silver, and 2 bronze in the high-level group; 2 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze in the sunshine group. They also broke 3 meet records. Notably, the high-level group secured the overall team score championship and the women’s group D team championship, achieving a historic milestone.

In this sports meeting, the students demonstrated their dedication and perseverance, earning well-deserved recognition. We look forward to their continued excellence on the field in future competitions, creating even more brilliant achievements.
