The 10th Meeting of the Joint Management Committee of Institute of WUT-AMU was held both online and offline. Attendees included Éric Berton, president of Aix-Marseille University (AMU), François March, vice-president, Sophie Chauvet, deputy vice-president, French and Chinese members of the Joint Management Committee. Maxime Feraille, commissioner for science and education of Consulate General of France in Wuhan, attended the meeting as a special guest. Meng Fangbing, deputy secretary of The CPC WUT Committee attended the session. The meeting of was hosted by Wang Fazhou, vice-president of WUT, member of the Joint Management Committee and the dean of the Institute of WUT-AMU.

Before the meeting, Meng Fangbing met Maxime Feraille and extended his gratitude for all the attention and support from the Consulate General of France since the establishment of the Institute of WUT-AMU. As of 2024, the Institute of WUT-AMU had successfully operated for 5 years, with 2 cohorts of bachelor’s degree students and 3 cohorts of postgraduate students completing their studies. With the support from the Consulate General, approximately 10 students every year are selected to go to AMU for studying, and about 20 teachers of AMU come to WUT to teach on a yearly basis. As a result of a joint effort, the administration and management of the Institute of WUT-AMU becomes better and better.

President Berton extended his gratitude to all AMU staff in speech and conveyed his expectation that both sides to put in more effort and deepen cooperation. He noted that AMU will increase support for the Institute of WUT-AMU to help students to reach more academic achievements.

The meeting announced the personnel changes of the Joint Management Committee and outlined the brief arrangement in 2025. The new organizational structure, featuring a five-year rotational system for the roles of president and Vice president, received unanimous approval. Following the meeting, Éric Berton (President of AMU) takes office as the president of the Joint Management Committee and Yang Zongkai (President of WUT) as vice-presedent. The additional membership scheme and the charter of the Joint Management Committee of the Institute of WUT-AMU were approved.
