Participant Groups:
A total of three main groups will participate:
Student Group: 1,360 participants
Faculty & Alumni Group: 400 participants
Family Group: 200 participants
(1) Student Group (divided into Competitive and Health categories):
- Health Category (1,000 participants, 5km)
No rankings; all finishers will receive a completion certificate.
- Competitive Category (360 participants, 5km)
Includes both individual and team competitions:
Team Competition: Organized by college, with each team comprising 15 members (10 male, 5 female). Top 8 teams will be awarded.
Individual Competition: Top 8 male and female finishers will receive medals and certificates. Results from the School of Physical Education will be counted as a tie for team scores.
(2) Faculty and Alumni Group (5km):
Top 8 male and female finishers will receive medals, certificates, and commemorative gifts.
All finishers will receive a completion certificate.
(3) Family Group (2.5km):
Open to alumni, current faculty and staff, and their families, as well as officially registered undergraduate and graduate student couples.
No rankings; finishers will receive commemorative certificates.
Participants & Requirements
(I) Eligible Participants:
Alumni and their families; registered WUT undergraduates and postgraduates; currently faculty members and their families.
(II) Requirements:
Participants must be in good physical condition, provide a valid health check report and a signed participation commitment form, and should have regular exercise or running habits. Individuals with the following conditions are not permitted to participate:
1. Congenital or rheumatic heart disease
2. Hypertension or cerebrovascular diseases
3. Myocarditis or other heart diseases
4. Coronary artery disease or severe arrhythmias
5. Diabetes
6. Any other conditions deemed unsuitable for physical activity
Registration Guidelines
(I) Registration Method:
- Student Health Group, Faculty and Alumni Group, Family Group:
Register via the WeChat mini-program (link: #小程序://校园活动/nmngR8d4vIJCcrm) and enter it based on colleges and alumni associations.
Deadline: 6:00 PM, April 15, 2025.
Eligibility will be reviewed within two working days. Notifications will be sent via SMS.
- Competitive Category (Students):
Register through the Smart Sports Platform (PC or mobile) under the “Smart Competition” section. The registration will be reviewed by the college for the number of participants.
Deadline: 6:00 PM, April 15, 2025.
Final confirmation will be issued via SMS by the organizing committee.
(II) Race Kit Distribution:
The organizing committee will provide participants with a kit (a portable bag, a commemorative T-shirt, a bib number, pins, and a timing chip). Eligible runner should bring their ID card, health examination report, and signed participation commitment letter.
Collection location:
Mafangshan Campus: 1st floor lobby of the Main Stadium, South Lake Campus. Yujiatou Campus: 1st floor lobby of the Physical Training Center.

1. Student Group:
Top 8 teams will be awarded trophies
Points will be counted toward the annual Sunshine Sports Group Ranking
Top 8 male and female individuals will receive medals and certificates
2. The Student Health Group:
All finishers will receive completion certificates
3. Faculty and Alumni Group:
Top 8 male and female finishers will receive medals, certificates, and commemorative gifts
Others will receive completion certificates.
4. Family Group:
No rankings; all finishers will receive commemorative certificates
