Interdisciplinary Materials journal's impact factor reaches record high

Recently, Clarivate Analytics released the latest journal citation reports. The impact factor of Interdisciplinary Materials (IM), a journal affiliated with WUT, reached 31.6, a nearly 30% increase from last year's 24.5, ranking in the JCR Q1 division.


Interdisciplinary Materials is the world's first high-level academic journal dedicated to interdisciplinary frontiers bridging materials science with physics, chemistry, mathematics, mechanics, biology, energy, environment, information science and beyond. Co-founded by WUT and Wiley Publishing Group, this open-access journal aims to publish cutting-edge research integrating materials science with other disciplines. Academicians Zhang Qingjie and Fu Zhengyi serve as editors-in-chief, leading an editorial board comprising 33 internationally distinguished scholars and 46 academicians from both the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering.


The journal's efficient, high-quality development results from the editorial board, peer reviewers, and partners' dedicated efforts, alongside strong support from authors, readers, and stakeholders.
